Under Republican leadership, Wayne County has seen enhanced efficiency and effectiveness in governance. We've reduced spending by 10% since 2008, saving over $2.5 million, and allowing taxpayers to retain more of their income. Emphasizing minimal government expansion, we've fostered an environment where prosperity flourishes in the private sector. This approach has made Wayne County an economic success story, recognized nationally. Our party's focus is on maintaining high-quality leadership and recruiting outstanding candidates for political positions, supporting Republican campaigns across all levels of government.

The objective of The Wayne County Republican Women is to bring together all Republican Women of Wayne County for the purpose of a unified effort toward the advancement and perpetuation of the principles of the Republican Party to serve as a center for furthering political activity and political education in accordance with the objectives of the National Federation of Republican Women.
The Wayne County Republican Women’s Club provides information and programs to our members while also encouraging them to participate in service projects that give back to the community. From lawyers, doctors and teachers to politicians, housewives and grandmothers, we attract women from all walks of life. Our members are elected officials or Party leaders at the national, state and local levels.
Together we strengthen our Republican Party, empower women and create a better future for our children and grandchildren.
Our group meets for a dinner meeting the third Thursday of the month at Wooster Country Club and you can check the “Events” tab on this website for meeting topics and further information.
What is a Young Republican?
Are you between the ages of 18 and 40? A registered voter? Interested in taking a more active role in Republican Party politics and keeping Wayne County red? Then the Wayne County YRs may be for you! As your local chapter of the Young Republicans, we are the boots on the ground in our grassroots organization, often door knocking, campaigning, and organizing events to engage with voters. WCYR provides a unique opportunity to meet government office holders, key decision makers in society, and like-minded individuals in our own community and state.
