Jane Carmichael

Recorder

Jane Carmichael was elected as Wayne County Recorder in November 1992. She worked in the Recorder's office for over twelve years under Ruth Williams and Miriam Shaffer.

Jane served as President of the Ohio Recorder's Association in 2006 and continues involvement in the association.

Jane currently serves on the Wayne County Republican Executive Committee, Republican Women, Wayne County Records Commission, Wayne County Health & Wellness Committee, Data Board, Wayne County Mayor's Association, Wayne County Township Trustees, Chair of Wayne County's United Way Campaign, and chair of the GOP picnic.

Community involvement includes Past President of Wayne County Women's Network, past Board Member of STEPS, United Way Allocations Committee, Relay for Life, and Leadership Wooster.



Jane grew up in Shreve and graduated from Triway High School in 1972.
